why i am transitioning to lowercase only
i have always detested title cases. as a perfectionist, they demand more of my mental bandwidth than i’d like to give. brainpower that should be used creatively gets spent deliberating over whether an article, pronoun or preposition deserves capitalization. the challenge with the english language is its lack of absolutes — what seems correct today might be debunked tomorrow.
in user interface design, i’ve resolved this by sticking to lowercase for layer names and sentence case for buttons — never title case. this consistency simplifies my workflow and saves me from unnecessary decision fatigue. so, why not extend that principle to all my writing?
yes, this choice might feel strange to my readers but for me, it’s a commitment to prioritize clarity of thought over capitalization conventions. i’d rather focus on assembling my ideas than fuss over what words deserve to start with a capital letter.
if you’ve been following my work, i appreciate your understanding. my previous writings will remain untouched, but this marks a new direction. lowercase feels right, and i hope it allows me to channel more energy into meaningful writing.
thank you for reading and for being open to this change.
