Think of death

--

Tell me that I’m going to die someday, rather than screaming, “God forbid,” anytime a conversation about death comes up, or talking of it like it’s some unreachable future.

Be real with me like that. I can take the honesty. I’ve been close several times — or so I think.

Whether we live or we die, what does it matter? I like to think it’s what happens in between that counts.

So yeah, think about death more often, but not as a doomsday event. Think of it as a poetic end to a life well-lived. And live well, you shall.
