“You must be a UI/UX Designer,” he said.
“Oh yes!” I replied.
“I had seen your screen in class.”
I nodded.
I had been working on a project I needed to submit for a hackathon over the weekend. It was only Monday, but there was still so much to tidy up on so many fronts.
“Which tool do you use? Figma?”
“Yes,” I replied.
“That’s great. You, my man, are good… I’m sure you wouldn’t have a hard time getting an opportunity in January.”
“I hope so,” I said, unbothered.
That was a conversation with my newly acquainted colleague. Let’s call him Mr. X.
